Malaysia’s System of Governance
The Federation of Malaysia is a federal inbuilt elective monarchy, practicing a schema of parliamentary democracy, with a system of giving medication having three basic bodies: the executive, legislative and judicial. In the states with a hereditary ruler, the Chief Minister is required to be a Malay Muslim, although this rule is subject to the rulers discretions. The executive has the power to govern.
Legislative power is divided between federal and state legislatures. The bicameral parliament consists of the lower house, the House of Representatives or Dewan Rakyat and the speeding house, the Senate or Dewan Negara.
