Thomas Edison was a great contributor to the world of experience. His inventions outnumber many other scientists. In August 12, 1877, is the date popularly given for Edisons completion of the model for the first phonograph and in 1878 he visited the White House to present his invention to the chairwoman of the United States. In 1868 Thomas Edison invented the Electrical Vote Recorder, his motivation was his desire to make certain that there is a significant public demand but because the invention was way out front of its time, it was heartily denigrated by politicians. In the year of 1879 Edison invented the first commercially practical incandescent electric lamp (light bulb), he presented his invention on October 21st, 1879. This bulb maintained its glow for over 40 hours.
Nikola Tesla besides was a great scientist with amazing contributions that allowed our knowledge about science to increase. Tesla invented what we now know as fluorescent lights, the tuner and AC motors. Tesla was fit to make fluorescent light bulbs by placing electrodes at both ends of the bulb containing argon gas and atomic number 80 vapor. This allowed the mercury atoms to excite and then return to their ground state trance producing ultraviolet photons hitting the phosphor creating fluorescent light.
The radio that Tesla created was able to conduct information through waves in different frequencies that another radio would then collect and interpret the information. The AC motor Tesla intentional did not need fuel to be powered, he true currents that made it easier to use and produce energy that can be powered by many things.
In my opinion, Thomas Edison is the shell inventor from these two scientists. Edison is better known simply because his inventions are better known and appreciated. Although they both contributed tons, Edison is still help to a higher position. Tesla corrected many of Edisons contributions, yet Edison was able to come up with them before Nikola did.
