Prince Hamlet is not mad. Everyone else believes that his paranoid and alternatively erratic behavior stems from his grief over his fathers death; in short they think he has done for(p) bonkers because his dad died. Hamlet questions his sanity as salubrious and does not seem against the idea. But when his fathers ghost reappears and assures him that hes not crazy just overwhelmed with the naive realism of the situation something occurs to him.
Hamlet does not express this out punk directly but his actions and sarcasm imply that he forget use the lost-my-marbles card to his advantage.
In act 3 there is proof of Hamlets sanity and intelligence. During act 3 scene 1 Hamlet takes the time to step cover charge and contemplate his intake of the whole situation. All these plans of revenge and murder take a toll on him despite what he lets on in public or at to the lowest degree tries to cover up in public.
