The scheme by Anton Chekhov
The Proposal is a land centered on lawsuit and unification. It involves a young man, Ivan Lomov, who desires to court and marry his foresightful time neighbors daughter Natalia. Natalias military chaplain allows him to take his daughters hand in marriage and the two appear to be in consent. However, shortly subsequently they begin to converse, they circumvent into a heated credit line concerning the cows meadows. The oxen meadows is land they dispute over among their respective properties. This argument happens as Lomov attempts to explain his intentions to Natasha. They however go ahead and court, get into arguments every once in a while. They appear to be fighting all the time even after they get married.
During the argument about Oxen Meadows, Lomov gets angry and leaves in a huff. Natasha however finds out his intentions from her father and implores him to go after him and put 1 over him come back. She is apologetic about her behavior and even apologizes on her fathers behalf because she would like for Lomov to carry on with his intentions. He concludes that the two are used to fighting and leaves them alone.
The two expect to fight every time they converse. Their arguments somely appear petty, one being over their two dogs, Oktatai and Ugadi. The two understandably are fond of each other, yet they cannot seem to stop fighting.
The play is not only centered on the bow of courtship and marriage but also touches on the theme of societal class. Natasha is presented as the only daughter of a widower. She desires to get married, and the most convenient prospect it appears, is her neighbor and childhood friend, Lomov. Another theme that plays out is class and its effect on social interaction especially in the
case of courtship and marriage. The play clearly brings out the significant role class plays on mortal character and relationships....If you want to get a full essay, arrange it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
