Definition of the industry
Our group shall be studying tire manufacturing companies. 
Tyres and Rubber is a sub-industry under the travel Components industry check to GIC standards. This falls under the overall industry group of Automobile and Components. The sub-industry of tyres and rubber is defined in GIC classification as and is a part of Auto components industry. The scope of our study shall include the by-line types of tyres:
* Commercial heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks
* Two-wheelers including scooters and motorcycles
* Passenger cars
* rise tractors
The sales of these tyres across various markets viz. OEM, replacement and exports shall be analyzed.
Geographic Scope
We shall be focusing on manufacturing operations of tyre manufacturers in the organized sector in India.
Cut Off dates
The report shall concentrate on the period extending from April 2006 to September 2010.
