Linda Sanchez, a Democrat representing the thirty-ninth District of California, was born(p) on January 28, 1069 in Orange, California. She grew up with six siblings, being elevated by Mexican immigrant parents in Anaheim, California. In 1991, she earned her BA in Spanish at UC Berkley, and in 1995, she earned her Juris physician degree at the UCLA School of Law. Sanchez was an attorney specializing in dig up law before her public service career. She joined the transnational Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in 1998, and became a compliance officer. In 2000 she was unanimously elected to the position of Executive Secretary and financial officer of the Orange County Central boil Council.
