Galileo

Galileo was a very famous Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer and philosopher who play a major role in the scientific revolution. He was born on February 15, 1564 and was the age of 77 when he died on January 8, 1642. Galileos full name is Galileo di Vincenzo Bonaiuti de Galilei. He was born in Pisa, Italy and was the first of six children to his mother and father. When he was eleven Galileo was move off to study in a Jesuit monastery. At the age of 17, he entered the University of Pisa to study medicine. When he was 20 he curiously noticed a lamp swinging overhead period he was in a cathedral which led to Galileos law of pendulum.
